Everything In Its Space is an award-winning home organizing business based on James Island, serving Charleston, Mount Pleasant and Kiawah, South Carolina. We help people declutter, organize and make their spaces welcoming and beautiful, and are known for our friendly, professional and confidential service. It is hugely satisfying and rewarding to see how transforming and empowering this experience can be for our clients.
Laura Gutowski
Meet the Founder!
Our founder, Laura, grew up in a home filled with clutter, so learned first hand how material possessions can burden people, and make them feel guilty and stressed. She understands on a deep level how daunting and overwhelming it can be to actually start to declutter, and has been helping family and friends to take that first step and get organized since she was in elementary school.
Laura continued to help family, friends, and friends-of-friends declutter and organize on evenings, weekends and vacations for over twenty years. In 2019, she decided to take a leap of faith, leave the corporate world behind and pursue her lifelong passion for organization full time, founding Everything In Its Space.
The feedback Laura gets most often from clients is that they feel like a weight has been lifted from their shoulders. They feel like they have more time and more control. Laura loves having that impact on her clients’ lives – it’s what motivates her to do what she does.
And she takes her job and the trust her clients place in her very seriously. Laura is a Professional Member of NAPO, the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals, and is bound by their membership requirements and code of ethics. Everything In Its Space is also insured as a business for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.
